“Joy” -VS- “Happiness” part I

Why? Why do we seek so much for “happiness” instead of “joy”?
To understand this, we need to define such terms. “Happiness” is defined by “a happening of chance, luck or fortune”. On the other hand, “joy” is defined as “an exhaultation of the spirit, gladness, delight, the bliss of heaven or paradise”. An that’s quite a difference. Happiness is something short lived. But you could find joy in the little things of life, even your sadness… There’s nothing more powerful than to enjoy your own suffering. How? That’s another story that I will develop more through another writing. But my point here is that people’s lack of understanding of “joy” and “happiness” is what gets us fucked up. Truth to be told is no happiness can be kept permanently, we need to accept that, but that doesn’t mean we cannot be joyful and rejoice through it all, which for me is something way much more stable, and is the only way you can experience gracefulness.
